As of midnight today news are out, the german sim Kreativdorf, home to various experimenters and artists, declared its autonomy from the imperialistic policy of the american concern behind Second Life. The group, now calling itself Agitation 31st March confirmed that by an unprecedented technological stratagem it managed to gain access to their servers and to mirror the whole sim. An exact copy of ‘Kreativdorf’ is now running under complete control of the group. The sim can still be reached via the well-known SURL, but the anti-imperialistic Kreativ-Viewer is required.
